KUWAIT CITY, April 7: An Arab expatriate filed a complaint at a police station in the Capital Governorate, accusing a man of defrauding him in a business deal. The victim reported that the suspect had convinced him to invest in a lucrative commercial project but fled the country after receiving the money.
According to the complaint, the two met at a café, where the suspect proposed a partnership involving importing goods from an East Asian country, promising profits exceeding 200%. After the expatriate handed over the agreed sum, the accused vanished. Investigations later revealed that the suspect had already left the country.
Authorities have registered the case and referred it to the relevant legal department for further action.
