The Ahmadi Security Directorate and the Jahra Governorate Traffic Department conducted extensive security and traffic campaigns in multiple areas, leading to numerous arrests, vehicle seizures, and traffic violations.
In the Mina Abdullah area, the Ahmadi Security Directorate launched a surprise crackdown, issuing 45 traffic violations and arresting several offenders. A security source said that the operation was carried out under the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, emphasizing the need for increased security in areas with large gatherings of workers. Led by the commander of the Mina Abdullah area, the campaign resulted in the arrest of 19 individuals without identification, a street vendor, and an absentee worker.
Additionally, two individuals who consumed alcohol and were in abnormal state were detained. Authorities also seized a traffic law-violating vehicle and another under judicial seizure orders.
Simultaneously, the Jahra Governorate Traffic Department conducted a large-scale security and traffic operation in the Amghara and Abdali Farms areas on February 17, 2025. This resulted in:
Referring 10 individuals to the Juvenile Prosecution.
Placing 6 individuals in precautionary detention.
Arresting 6 wanted individuals listed as absent.
Transferring 10 individuals with expired residency permits.
Seizing 5 vehicles wanted by the judiciary.
Confiscating 5 motorcycles, which were moved to the traffic impound garage.
All detained individuals and seized vehicles were referred to the relevant authorities for further legal action. These operations highlight the government's commitment to enforcing laws, ensuring public safety, and maintaining order in key areas across Kuwait.
