KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: The General Traffic Department announced that a security and traffic campaign was conducted by various sectors of the Ministry of Interior across multiple highways early Thursday morning. The operation involved the Traffic Affairs and Operations Sector (including the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Rescue Police, and the Central General Department of Operations), along with the Public Security Affairs Sector and the Private Security Affairs Sector.
The campaign led to the arrest of 27 individuals, including wanted persons, residency law violators, and those with outstanding absences. Additionally, eight minors were detained for driving without a license. The operation also resulted in the issuance of 1,645 traffic violations and the seizure of 17 vehicles.
