KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: The spokesperson of the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation Administration of Civil Aviation, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, who is also the Acting Deputy Director-General for Administrative, Financial, and Legal Affairs, announced on DGCA X social media platform (previously known as Twitter), that a group of administration employees, with 32 to 37 years of service, will be retiring at the end of this month.

This decision is in line with the directives of the Director-General of the Administration and is a result of the Civil Service Commission's rulings regarding retirement.

Al-Rajhi stated that this decision was made to create opportunities for young, qualified individuals and infuse fresh talent into key supervisory roles within the DGCA.

He mentioned that the administration had previously engaged with the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS) to align their retirement decisions with PIFSS regulations and laws.

Al-Rajhi commended the retiring employees for their dedicated service and their valuable contributions to enhancing work quality and performance over the years.

He emphasized that the retirement decisions for those who have reached the legal retirement age will pave the way for emerging talent to assume supervisory positions. The Director General of Civil Aviation will honor these retiring employees in recognition of their dedicated efforts throughout their years of service.
