KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: An elderly Kuwaiti citizen filed a complaint at a police station in the Ahmadi Governorate, reporting that his domestic worker had stolen items from his residence before disappearing.
According to the complaint, the citizen’s wife noticed the maid was missing in the morning and attempts to contact her were unsuccessful as her phone was switched off. Upon inspecting the house, the family discovered that the maid had stolen a mobile phone and several electrical appliances.
The case has been referred for investigation, and authorities have issued a travel ban and a "block" against the domestic worker to prevent her from leaving the country. Detectives are currently working to locate and apprehend the suspect.
