Court Lifts Travel Ban on Former MPs

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29:  The Criminal Court has lifted the travel ban on several former MPs accused of spreading false information, endangering national interests, and misusing communication channels concerning statements made about the alleged prevention of Shuaib Al-Muwaizri from entering the country.

Following an investigation, the Public Prosecution previously released the defendants on bail set at 500 Kuwaiti dinars, imposing a travel ban as a precautionary measure. The case involved prominent former MPs, including Mohammed Hayef, Bader Al-Dahoum, Salem Al-Namlan, Khaled Al-Mones, Saud Al-Asfour, Mohammed Jawhar Hayat, Mohammed Musaed Al-Dosari, Shuaib Shaaban, Osama Al-Zaid, Muslim Al-Barrak, Adel Al-Damkhi, Falah Al-Hajri, and other social media users. The decision allows the former MPs and defendants to travel freely while the legal process continues.
