NFL star Travis Kelce (right) extols Taylor Swift's Grammy success.

LOS ANGELES, Feb 6: Travis Kelce, the NFL star, couldn't be prouder of Taylor Swift's remarkable achievements at the 2024 Grammy Awards, where she clinched album of the year for the fourth time with her record "Midnights" and secured the best pop vocal album award, bringing her Grammy tally to an impressive 14 wins. Although Kelce couldn't be physically present by Swift's side due to his commitments with the upcoming Super Bowl, where his Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers on February 11, he expressed his unwavering admiration and support for the pop icon.

Speaking to reporters at a pre-Super Bowl press conference on February 5, Kelce praised Swift's groundbreaking success, stating, "She’s rewriting the history books herself. I told her I’d have to hold up my end of the bargain and bring home some hardware too." The couple was last seen together celebrating on the field after the Chiefs' victory against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship on January 28.

Despite fans' hopes of seeing Kelce accompany Swift to the Grammys, the tight end explained on “The Pat McAfee Show” before the event that his Super Bowl preparations took precedence. Swift, meanwhile, is set to resume her “Eras Tour” in Tokyo on February 7, with a four-night engagement leading up to the Super Bowl.

As anticipation grows over whether Swift will attend the Super Bowl to support Kelce, the singer herself remains busy. She recently unveiled details of her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” following her Grammy triumphs, further cementing her status as a musical powerhouse.
