KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: Al-Qadsiya has appointed Tunisian coach Amin Al-Qafsi to lead the first handball team, following the termination of Macedonian coach Zoran’s contract.

Al-Qafsi will work alongside his fellow Tunisian, Mohamed Al-Tajouri, who will handle the technical management of the team moving forward. Al-Qafsi is highly regarded as one of the top Arab coaches, having previously coached the "Blue Hand" during the 2021 Asian Championship. He also brings extensive experience from coaching various Gulf clubs, with deep knowledge of both local and Gulf handball scenes.

Locally, Al-Qadsiya is facing significant challenges. After six rounds of the league championship, the team is struggling in 11th place with just 4 points, having won two matches and lost four. The team now faces the prospect of failing to qualify for the Premier League, which includes the top six teams from the preliminary round.
