KUWAIT CITY, Oct 20: Jahra detectives have launched a search for two individuals involved in selling counterfeit mobile phones to local stores at prices far below their market value. The latest victim, an Asian expatriate, reported the scam to the authorities. According to a security source, the expat storekeeper visited a police station in Jahra and explained that he had purchased two smartphones from the suspects for 640 dinars. After the transaction, he discovered that the devices were only phone cases containing toys. A case has been registered, and the authorities are on the hunt to locate the culprits.
