KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23: Last evening, the Jahra security patrols seized a young man from Taima with a history of previous offenses and subsequently referred him to the General Administration for Narcotics Control.
He was found in possession of 250 Tramadol pills, two pieces of hashish, a bag containing the narcotic drug shabu, iron handcuffs, and various drug paraphernalia.
As per a security source, he was taken into custody on suspicion while he apparently waited for someone in the parking lot of a school.
When he was taken to a police station, he confessed that he was awaiting a drug delivery from one of the users.
The source also indicated that the possession of iron handcuffs by the accused would be investigated, as it raised concerns about potential involvement in impersonating security personnel for robbery.
In a separate incident, officers from the Jahra Security Directorate arrested a thirty-year-old individual wanted by the General Administration for Judgment Implementation in Saad Al-Abdullah City.
This person was found in possession of narcotic substances, specifically a sachet of shabu and drug paraphernalia.
