KUWAIT CITY, March 21: Kuwait Alternative Medicine Society has announced availability of two recipes that help to protect against epidemic, viruses, bacteria and fever, pointing out that the two recipes were prepared by a member of the Society’s Board of Directors Dr Hisham Al-Jasser out of the national duty toward dear country – Kuwait and its people, reports Al-Rai daily.

The association indicated the first recipe includes
30 grams of aloe
15 grams of bile
and 15 grams of saffron.

The dose for adults is one teaspoon twice a week for protection.

It should be mixed with a cup of apple or pomegranate juice.

The dose for children is half a teaspoon mixed with half a cup of apple or pomegranate juice twice a week.

It pointed out that the second recipe aimed to protect from colds, flu, high temperatures, and protection from epidemic diseases, viruses and harmful bacteria.
It includes an amount of
60 grams of quince seed,
60 grams of jujube,
125 grams of Sebastan (Pember),
60 grams of rose violet and
125 grams of cough grass that can be replaced in the absence of a hyssop herb.
It explained that all these herbs are ground crushed and used as a drink such as tea and sweetened with or without plant sugar, and the recipe is used for adults and children twice daily, provided that they are eating dairy and its derivatives, while bread and white flour is forbidden during the period, indicating white bread and flour should be replaced with brown flour, sweets, cold drinks, cucumbers and lettuce.

The association agreed with a member of the association Fahd Al-Bannai to provide the recipes at the cost of production.

It concluded, “We pray to the Almighty God to lift this scourge from us, while we ask for forgiveness and increase our praise away from sins, suppression of people, and extract people’s wealth unlawfully to make Allah the Almighty angry.”
