Two key matches to conclude the preliminary round of the Federation Volleyball Championship

Al-Qadsiya and Burqan are looking for a special ending.

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 12: The preliminary round of the Federation Volleyball Championship will conclude with two exciting matches at the Federation Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Halls Complex. Al-Arabi will face Al-Nasr at 5:00 pm, followed by Al-Qadsiya against Burqan at 7:00 pm.

Al-Qadsiya currently holds second place in the standings with 18 points from 6 wins and 1 loss, while Burqan sits in fourth place with 14 points from 5 wins and 2 losses.

Both Al-Qadsiya and Burqan have already qualified for the semi-finals, alongside Kuwait and Kazma. The semi-final matchups will be determined after today’s round, with the first place facing the fourth and the second place meeting third. The winners will then compete in the final.

Under the leadership of Bahraini coach Redha Ali, Al-Qadsiya has delivered strong performances in the tournament, winning six of its seven matches, with their only loss coming to the title favorite, Kuwait Club. On the other hand, Burqan aims to secure a victory today and demonstrate its ability to challenge for the championship.

In the second match, Al-Arabi, currently in sixth place with 9 points, hopes to end the preliminary round on a high note and secure fifth place.
