KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: On Friday, two Kuwaiti officers graduated from the NATO Defense College as part of the "Istanbul Cooperation Initiative." The ceremony took place at the Military Academy in Rome, Italy, with the Acting Chargé d'Affairs, Counselor Amira Al-Dashti, and Brigadier General Khaled Al-Otaibi, Head of the Kuwaiti Military Office, in attendance, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The college's commander, Lieutenant General Max Nielsen, awarded graduation certificates to Marine Colonel Hamad Al-Baz and Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Al-Gharib. They were part of the "143rd Advanced Course for Higher Ranks" at the NATO College, representing the Kuwaiti Armed Forces.

Counselor Al-Dashti congratulated the Kuwaiti graduates for their successful completion of the academic course at NATO's esteemed military institute. She highlighted the significance of national defense and security cadres participating in such courses, emphasizing the importance of acquiring international experience and fostering cooperation through these initiatives.

The regional cooperation courses are crucial academic endeavors by NATO, fostering collaboration with countries involved in the Mediterranean Dialogue and the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative.
