KUWAIT CITY, April 9: Security authorities have reported multiple cases of theft and armed robbery in the areas of Bar Al-Mutlaa, Al-Salmi, and Kabd, which have been referred to the relevant authorities. An investigation led by the Taima Investigations Department uncovered the circumstances surrounding the incidents. A strict security plan was implemented, resulting in the arrest of four suspects—two Kuwaiti citizens and two Bedouns —all with prior criminal records.
According to sources, investigations revealed that the suspects operated as a coordinated group, assigning roles such as monitoring targeted sites, confirming the presence of valuable items, and executing the thefts. They reportedly sold the stolen goods at a scrapyard. The suspects also used firearms to intimidate guards at barns and camps during the robberies. Charges of armed robbery have been filed against them, and they remain in custody pending further investigation. Following their confessions, a detailed report was compiled, including the locations where the crimes took place.
