KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: Two Kuwaiti citizens filed complaints against each other, each accusing the other of verbal abuse and reckless behavior. The dispute, which took place at a roundabout, resulted in a registered case at the Al-Shamiya Police Station.
The first party, a Kuwaiti citizen born in 1969, reported that he was deliberately hit by another Kuwaiti citizen born in 1985. According to his statement, while navigating the roundabout, he noticed the second party entering in a reckless manner that posed a danger to him. In response, he honked his horn. However, the second party allegedly followed him and deliberately bumped into his vehicle. To document the incident and protect his rights, the first party recorded the second party on his mobile phone.
The second party, however, provided a different account of the incident. He claimed that the first party had insulted him and had deliberately filmed him without consent. He further stated that while he was driving in the correct lane of the roundabout, the first party suddenly turned in front of him. Although he initially ignored the maneuver and continued driving, the first party allegedly obstructed his path multiple times, stopping abruptly in an apparent attempt to provoke a collision. Ultimately, a minor collision did occur, but the second party asserted that it was unintentional. Authorities are currently investigating both cases to determine the appropriate legal actions for each dispute.
