KUWAIT CITY, Dec 22: The total market value of all players participating in the "Khaleeji Zain 26" stands at approximately 120.1 million euros, according to the "Transfer Market" website.
Eight teams are competing in the tournament: UAE, Kuwait (host country), Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Bahrain, Qatar, Yemen, and Oman.
The UAE team holds the highest market value among the participating teams, valued at 37.30 million euros, followed by Saudi Arabia at 27.10 million euros. Qatar ranks third with a market value of 19.58 million euros, while Iraq, the defending champions, occupies fourth place with 10.95 million euros.
Bahrain comes fifth with a market value of 9.83 million euros, while Oman ranks sixth with 9.43 million euros.
The market value of the Kuwaiti national team, the host team, is 4 million euros, placing it seventh in the rankings, ahead of Yemen, which is ranked eighth with a market value of just 2 million euros.

Akram Afif Tops as the Most Valuable Player:
On the individual level, Qatari star Akram Afif leads the player rankings with the highest market value at 7.50 million euros, according to "Transfer Market." UAE striker Fabio Lima follows in second with a market value of 7 million euros, while Saudi Arabia's Firas Al-Brikan is third with 5 million euros.
Saudi Arabia's Saud Abdulhamid and Roma player also share fourth place with a market value of 4 million euros, ahead of Qatar's striker Almoez Ali, whose market value is 3.50 million euros.
Yemeni players Radwan Al-Habishi and Tariq Shehab hold the lowest spots on the list, each with a market value of just 25,000 euros.
