KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Kuwait on Sunday morning for a state visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation.
Upon arrival at the Amiri Airport, Sheikh Mohamed was warmly welcomed by His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. Other senior Kuwaiti officials present to receive the UAE President included the Acting Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Deputy Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, and other high-ranking state officials.
A squadron of Kuwaiti warplanes escorted the UAE President's aircraft as it entered Kuwaiti airspace. Upon landing, an official reception ceremony was held at the Amiri Airport to mark the state visit. The national anthems of both countries were played as Sheikh Mohamed arrived at the podium. He then inspected the Guard of Honor and greeted senior Kuwaiti government officials.

Warm Welcome
As the official motorcade departed the airport, children lined both sides of the road, waving flags of the UAE and Kuwait and chanting welcoming phrases. Upon reaching Bayan Palace, a 21-gun salute was fired to welcome the UAE President. Military helicopters flew overhead displaying the flags of both nations, while cavalry units and traditional artistic groups performed to welcome the distinguished guest.
This state visit aims to further strengthen the longstanding ties between the UAE and Kuwait, focusing on enhancing cooperation in key areas such as economic development, investment, and regional stability
