DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates has thwarted a series of sophisticated and organised cyberattacks targeting vital sectors, including aviation, energy and education, the UAE Cybersecurity Council said on Monday.
The council said national cybersecurity systems detected the attempted attacks at an early stage and enabled security teams to respond swiftly, preventing the attackers from achieving their objectives.
According to the council, the attacks targeted critical sectors whose operations are essential to the country’s infrastructure and the delivery of key services.
