KUWAIT CITY, Sep 24: An employee of the Ministry of Information has been referred to the General Department for Drug Control after being found in possession of a narcotic substance. According to a security source, a National Guard officer assigned to guard the ministry noticed the employee displaying unusual behavior before the start of the workday. Suspecting something amiss, the officer conducted a precautionary search and was surprised to discover narcotics in the employee's possession. The employee was detained, and the Ministry of Interior’s operations team was contacted. A patrol from Al-Salihiya police station was dispatched to prepare for his transfer to the Drug Control Department.
