KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: A dispute over a parking space in the Al-Nugra area escalated into a heated exchange of insults, slander, and physical assault. According to a security source, an expatriate filed a complaint at the Al-Nugra police station, reporting that an unidentified individual had assaulted him after parking his vehicle in a space located opposite a coffee shop. The alleged attacker claimed that the parking spot was rightfully his.
Authorities launched an investigation into the matter, and after reviewing surveillance footage, they identified the suspect through his vehicle’s license plate. The individual, a Kuwaiti citizen in his thirties, was subsequently contacted and voluntarily reported to the investigations department. During questioning, the suspect admitted that a verbal altercation had occurred between him and the complainant over the parking spot. He alleged that the complainant had pushed him in the chest, prompting him to retaliate in kind, leading to a physical confrontation. Investigators concluded that both parties were involved in a mutual exchange of blows and classified the case accordingly.
