KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: The Ministry of Interior has begun issuing entry family visas to what the ministry called ‘some groups’ after all kinds of visas remained suspended for a long time, reports Al-Anba daily quoting well-informed security sources. The sources pointed out that those who have infants born outside Kuwait will be allowed to bring in their children, in addition to some requests taking into account the humanitarian side of the issue.

The sources indicated that the rest of the requests related to this aspect will also be reconsidered. The sources pointed out that there are hundreds of transactions which are being looked into especially those that were waiting government formation. On the other hand, a security source affirmed the ministry is serious about running a test on its employees for use of narcotics, alcohol and psychotropic substances, after observing several incidents related to the issue.
