KUWAIT CITY, Jan 4: The Ministry of Interior announced the death of a wanted individual following a shootout during an arrest operation.

The Ministry revealed that the General Department of Criminal Investigations successfully located the suspect after intensive investigations and precise surveillance efforts. When security personnel attempted to apprehend him, the wanted man opened fire, prompting officers to respond in line with established legal procedures.

The suspect sustained injuries during the exchange of gunfire and was transported to the hospital for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities also confiscated the firearm used by the suspect during the incident.
