“Warba” participates in distributing 500 moringa seedlings

Kuwait City, May 28: Warba Bank announced its participation in distributing 500 moringa seedlings in partnership with Alghanem Moringa Farm and in cooperation with Al-Khiran Mall and Tamdeen Group, as part of the “Plant it for Free” initiative. This comes as part of the Bank’s strategy for social responsibility, and out of belief in its pioneering role in spreading awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and agriculture.

On this occasion, the Director Marketing and Corporate Communications at Warba Bank, Ayman Salem Al-Mutairi, said: “We at Warba Bank are happy with this participation, which comes as part of the Bank’s strategy for social responsibility, and out of belief in its pioneering role in spreading awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and agriculture. Planting and greening the areas of Kuwait is considered part of Warba Bank’s efforts to enhance awareness of the importance of preserving and protecting the environment and its initiatives to provide support and harness all its capabilities to support and participate in the “Plant it for Free” initiative.

He explained that such strategic partnerships that Warba Bank concludes with these institutions reflect the vital role that the private sector plays in serving society, in general, and the great importance that Warba Bank, in particular, attaches to environmental issues and the necessity of preserving it in cooperation with specialized and concerned authorities. Warba has previously supported and participated in many activities related to the environment in cooperation with some other parties.

Al-Mutairi stressed that Warba Bank seeks to be a role model in enhancing contributions towards the environment, and adopting environmentally friendly work practices to achieve a sustainable development impact.

In turn, the CEO of Alghanem Moringa Farm, Fatma Al-Ghaith, appreciated the effective role of “Warba” and its initiative to provide financial and moral support and harness all their capabilities to support and participate in the “Plant it for Free” initiative, which was held at Al Khiran Mall on Friday.

Warba Bank is one of the banks that has achieved great successes in a short period, as it occupied a leading position in the field of Islamic digital banking services for individuals, and it is one of the largest local banks in the number of shareholders, and these are among the most prominent components that make the Bank close to all members of society.
