KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: Kuwait Argentine coach, Juan Pizzi affirmed the team’s readiness for today’s match, expressing confidence in securing a positive result despite the challenge posed by their opponent.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Football Association at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, Pizzi acknowledged that some players are dealing with health issues but emphasized that the team has a strong group prepared to represent the Blues.

“We are fully aware of the strength of our opponent, but I have great faith in our players,” Pizzi stated. “The Blues approach every match as a final, regardless of the opponent’s ranking, and we are always focused on achieving a positive result.”

Captain Fahad Al-Hajri also spoke about the team's motivation, saying, “We aim for a satisfactory result after the loss and draw in the previous two rounds.”

“We are not afraid of Korea. We’ve faced tough teams before and secured convincing results. Our goal is to perform better today,” Al-Hajri added.

Meanwhile, South Korea's coach, Hong Myung-bo, emphasized the importance of every away match, describing it as “difficult.”

“Our focus is on preparing well for Kuwait and Palestine. We will raise our concentration to ensure victory,” Hong said, also noting that the historical record of past encounters between the two teams “is irrelevant now.”

Regarding the fitness of Tottenham striker Son Heung-min, the coach commented, “We will assess his readiness.”

South Korean player Hwang In-bum expressed his hopes for the match, saying, “We are aiming to secure all three points.
