Where to get your seasonal vaccines: Health centers and hospitals
Health Ministry details winter vaccination plans across 43 health centers and 14 hospitals for community coverage.

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 5: The Ministry of Health has announced that winter vaccinations will be available through 43 preventive health centers and 14 hospitals across various health regions to enhance accessibility and ensure coverage for all community members.

In a press statement issued on Thursday, the ministry detailed the vaccination distribution. In the Capital Health District, vaccines will be provided at 14 preventive health centers and the preventive health center at Amiri Hospital. The listed centers include Hamad Al-Saqr in Adailiya, Abdullah Abdul-Mughni in Al-Faiha, Al-Ahqaqi in Al-Daiya, Ali Thunayan Al-Ghanim in Sulaibikhat and Al-Qairawan, Al-Zalzala Center in Dasma, Abdullah Abdul-Hadi in Yarmouk, Jaber Al-Ahmad Block 3, Al-Rawda Health, Sheikhan Al-Farsi and Shareefah Al-Awadhi in Surra, Munira Al-Ayyar in Kaifan, Doha Center, North Sulaibikhat, and Jaber Al.

In the Hawalli Health District, vaccinations will be available at five health centers: Rumaithiya, Nasser Saud Al-Sabah, West Salmiya, West Hawalli, and Salwa Specialist centers. Vaccines will also be offered at the preventive health center at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital.

The Farwaniya Health District will have nine health centers offering vaccinations: Manahi Al-Asimi, Northern Ardiya, Southern Jleeb, Southern Paradise, Abdullah Al-Mubarak, West Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Rabia, Nahda, and West Farwaniya. The preventive health center at Farwaniya Hospital will also provide vaccines.

In the Ahmadi Health District, seven preventive health centers will administer vaccines, including Fahaheel Specialist, Fahaheel Health, Aqila, Fahd Al-Ahmad, East Ahmadi, Ali Sabah Al-Salem, and Sabah Al-Ahmad A centers. Vaccinations will also be available at the preventive health center at Al-Adan Hospital.

The Jahra Health District will offer vaccines at five centers: Jahra Health, Al-Oyoun, Saad Al-Abdullah Block 10, Al-Naeem, and Al-Sulaibiya. The preventive health center at Jahra Hospital will also be open for vaccinations.

In the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Health District, vaccines will be administered at three centers: Al-Adan Specialized, Al-Zahra, and Abdulrahman Al-Zaid west of Mishref, as well as at the preventive health center in Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital.

The Sabah Health District will provide vaccinations through several hospitals, including Al-Sabah, Ibn Sina, Maternity, Psychiatry, Chest, Hussein Makki Jumaa, Addiction Treatment Center, and Sabah Al-Ahmad Kidney Hospital. These centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Ministry of Health highlighted that this year’s seasonal vaccination campaign includes essential vaccines such as the seasonal influenza vaccine and the vaccine against bacterial pneumonia. The ministry emphasized the effectiveness of these vaccines in preventing influenza and reducing the risk of severe complications. (KUNA)
