KUWAIT CITY, June 5: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) – Morals Sector – have launched extensive security campaigns on chalets, farms and what it called the “suspicious places”, where a large number of people go to hold parties and ‘evenings out’ in violation of the laws which forbid gatherings and failure to adhere to health requirements, says Al-Seyassah. A security source told the Al-Seyassah daily the detectives have instructions to monitor all the sites that the prone to illegal gatherings especially during the weekends, whether on the farms, stables, or chalets, as these illegal gatherings will be raided, especially since some of these places are used to hold ‘wild parties’.

According to security sources such parties are frequented by cross-dressers and others reported absconding. The sources stressed the security authorities have permission to refer all those arrested to the competent authority to take necessary action. The sources added the CID men last week raided one such party in Kabad during which young men and women were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities
