Women’s Police Institute welcomes new female cadets for specialized security training

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: The Women’s Police Institute at the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences welcomed the 14th batch of female students into the specialized officers’ courses, as well as the 13th batch in the corporal and policeman courses, after successfully meeting all registration and admission requirements. This was announced by the Ministry of Interior on Saturday.

The ministry stated that this initiative reflects its commitment to qualifying and empowering women in the security field. The students were greeted by Colonel Imane Boland, Director of the Women’s Police Institute, alongside a group of specialized female officers.

Major General Fawaz Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Assistant Undersecretary for Education and Training Affairs, emphasized the importance of this move within the framework of the ministry's strategy to enhance the role of women in security, enabling them to effectively tackle contemporary security challenges and contribute to maintaining security and order with professionalism and efficiency.

The ministry added that this event marks the beginning of an intensive educational and training phase, designed to prepare female personnel to actively participate in ensuring security and stability. It also highlights the academy’s commitment to developing female competencies and integrating them into the military corps, according to the highest standards in security sciences.
