KUWAIT CITY: The "Al-Rafai" team claimed the title of the "Haido" Penalty Kick Championship for young footballers, with the Catalonia team finishing in second place. This championship is part of the sports programs and activities organized by Haido "Kan." Abdullah Al-Saleh, Director of Haido Sports Academy, stated that the championship is one of the summer activities conducted by Haido "Kan" Sports, aiming to instill the principles of sports, highlight its significance, and emphasize the importance of regular physical activity for children.
He explained that this is the second consecutive year the championship has been held for age groups ranging from 4 to 15 years old, at Mishref Sports Stadium. A total of 134 young players participated and were honored during a special sports event in the presence of their parents. The event recognizes the efforts of many parents who encourage their children to engage in sports, as it provides an opportunity to develop positive personality traits and fosters a sense of cooperation, contributing to the child's personal growth, moral values, and understanding of the ethics of soccer.
