KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Nasser Al-Sheikh, Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Youth, emphasized the importance of enhancing youth skills through innovative training programs and projects. He highlighted key initiatives such as the "Youth Valley" project for science and technology, the "Work Makers" project for recent graduates, the "Professional Entrepreneur" program for budding entrepreneurs, and the "Youth Creativity League" for various creative fields. The authority also offers seasonal training at the Academy of Arts and Media for Youth and specialized courses in traditional Kuwaiti crafts.

Al-Sheikh noted the availability of over 75 free development courses on the "Imkan" electronic platform and various activities across youth centers. Supported by Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, these efforts aim to foster a culture of excellence and creativity among youth and enhance the country's human capital. He thanked partners, including state agencies, civil society, and the private sector, for their support.

World Youth Skills Day, celebrated on July 15, highlights the importance of equipping youth with skills for employment and entrepreneurship, contributing to a stable and prosperous future.
