KUWAIT CITY, March 1: Security forces arrested a young citizen in Ahmadi Governorate for the possession of narcotics. According to a security source, the support patrol roaming around the governorate noticed a young man in an abnormal condition. Upon questioning him, it became clear that he had an undisclosed quantity of narcotics. He was arrested immediately and referred to the Drug Control General Department (DCGD). Meanwhile, land customs officers arrested an expatriate who tried to smuggle 100 cigarette cartons through the Abdally border. When questioned about the cigarettes, the expatriate stated that they were for personal use. Customs officers confiscated the items and the expatriate was referred to the concerned authorities for legal action.
