KUWAIT CITY, Jan 07: As part of its continued commitment to strategic partnerships with the public sector to support Kuwait’s largest tourism initiatives, Zain has announced its role as a strategic partner for the Ya Hala Shopping Festival. The festival, the largest in the country’s history, will run for 70 days from January 21 to March 31, offering exciting raffles and valuable prizes worth $8 million.

The partnership was unveiled at a ceremony organized by the Permanent Committee for Celebrating National Holidays and Occasions at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center. The event was attended by the Committee Chair, H.E. Abdulrahman Bedah Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information, Culture, and State Minister for Youth Affairs; Zain Kuwait’s CEO Nawaf Al-Gharabally; Dr. Nasser Muheisen, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information; Ziyad Al-Najem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry; Faisal Al-Shaiji, Chairman of the Kuwait Shopping Festival; Fadhel Al-Dousari, the festival’s CEO; and other senior leaders from both the public and private sectors.

Following the resounding success of Khaleeji Zain 26, which enriched Kuwait's tourism and economic scenes with the participation of neighboring Gulf countries, Zain’s partnership with the Ya Hala Shopping Festival underscores its commitment to enhancing the private sector’s role in supporting public-sector initiatives to drive national development projects.

Zain takes pride in being one of the foremost organizations to annually support national celebrations and festivals since 1998. This commitment contributes to promoting domestic tourism, diversifying Kuwait’s economy, and solidifying the country's reputation as a leading destination for tourism, entertainment, and culture.

True to its tradition, Zain will participate in the festival with a unique touch, offering a range of exceptional activities and events that reflect its brand values, Zain: A Wonderful World. These initiatives aim to spread joy and celebration among all members of the community throughout the festival period.

The festival boasts prizes worth $8 million, including $1 million in cash awards and 120 luxury cars distributed over ten raffles across ten weeks. Each raffle will feature 12 luxury cars and $100,000 in cash, shared among 100 winners.

Over the course of 70 days, from January 21 to March 31, the Ya Hala Shopping Festival will offer promotional campaigns, discounts, and giveaways from participating entities. These include shopping malls, retail stores, cooperative societies, supermarkets, major companies, e-commerce platforms, and businesses across various sectors.

During the festival, shoppers will receive one raffle coupon for every 10 KWD spent at participating entities, qualifying them for the weekly raffles. Additionally, the festival will feature entertainment events and activities inside and outside shopping malls, including drone shows, fireworks displays, hospitality for Gulf visitors, and much more.
