KUWAIT CITY, May 23: The Kuwait Ministry of Health announced 900 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 20,464, while 10 deaths were reported as well bringing the fatalities' toll up to 148. 192 patients were in intensive care.
All new cases of coronavirus infection were related to contact and are under investigation - 164 of them are Kuwaitis, 264 are Indians, 150 are Egyptians, 137 are Bangladeshis and the rest are from other nationalities
Health areas: 319 Al Farwaniya, 301 Ahmadi, 144 Hawalli, 83 Al Jahra, and 53 in Capital
Residential areas: 100 in Farwaniya, 78 in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh , 68 in Mahboula , 67 in Mangaf and 67 in Khaitan
