KUWAIT CITY, March 16: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health (MoH) registered Tuesday 1,314 additional COVID- 19 cases over a 24-hour span, increasing the total number of infections to 212,169, while seven fatalities were recorded, raising the death toll to 1,186. Active cases amounted to 14,162 with 215 of them in intensive care units, MoH’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA. Health authorities conducted 9,317 swab tests to 1,923,896, which meant that 14.10 percent of swab tests performed in 24 hours were infections, he revealed. (KUNA)
