KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: The Traffic and Operations Sector of the General Traffic Department during traffic campaigns has issued 29,155 citations, impounded 21 vehicles and put behind bars 49 violators, reports Al-Jarida daily. This is in addition to referring 50 reckless juveniles to the Juvenile Prosecution, impounding seven vehicles and arresting 3 people who had been sentenced in absentia to various prison terms. The campaign was led by the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs Major-General Jamal Al-Sayegh in all six governorates
