KUWAIT CITY, Feb 25: The Ministry of Trade and Industry closed 7 pharmacies on the second day of its price-control campaign.

The Team, led by Minister Khaled Al-Roudhan and Undersecretary Dr. Abdullah Al-Afasy, launched a campaign to ensure that the sales outlets comply with the prices of the masks specified by the Ministry.

The campaign closed one of the commercial outlets in the airport terminal in the building for not selling to the prices instructed by the ministry.

Minister Al-Roudhan stressed that the ministry monitors all markets and sales outlets in Kuwait, sending a message to pharmacies and other outlets, he further stated that "We will take the maximum measures for anyone who wants to take advantage of this crisis financially and will shutdown their pharmacies."

Al-Roudhan added that Kuwait is currently going through a health crisis, and, God willing, with the cooperation of everyone, we will overcome it.

Ministry has spotted a very few who tried to take advantage of this crisis, and the ministry and the government have been on the lookout.
