KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24:  A Filipino expatriate was arrested after discovering that he suffers from AIDS. In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the General Department of Public Relations and Media Security revealed that the suspect had entered the country on a work visa of a health spa in Salmiya area. However, the fact that he is suffering from AIDS was discovered after he underwent medical tests. The Department of Control and Coordination arrested the suspect and referred him to the concerned authorities for further measures.

 Brothers in crime: Police are looking for two brothers suspected of stealing from mobile phone shops, reports Al-Rai daily. Hawally patrolmen suspected two persons in a car so they were asked to stop and show their identification documents but the duo ignored the instruction and sped off. Police chased the suspects for 15 minutes but they abandoned the car and escaped on foot. The officers found 12 mobile phones, an Ipad and an undisclosed quantity of meth drugs from the car. Investigations revealed that the suspects are brothers and they have criminal records.
