KUWAIT CITY, July 29: The General Administration of Security Relations and Media reaffirmed the Ministry of Interior's unwavering commitment to combat drug dealers and smugglers, safeguarding the nation's youth from the perils of this destructive menace.

In a series of decisive operations, the Criminal Security Sector, spearheaded by the General Department for Narcotics Control, successfully apprehended 18 suspects, comprising 10 Kuwaiti citizens, 4 bedouns, 2 Asians, and 2 Arabs. These operations resulted in the confiscation of approximately 4 kilograms of various narcotic substances, 830 tablets of psychotropic drugs, 214 bottles of liquor, a quantity of lyrica, two Kalashnikovs, and undisclosed amounts of money.
Upon rigorous questioning and confronting the suspects with the evidence seized from their possession, they unequivocally confessed to owning the illicit materials. The administration emphasized that their efforts persist in uncovering drug dens and apprehending both dealers and promoters. It further emphasized that security forces remain resolute in dealing decisive blows to those who jeopardize the nation's security and the well-being of its citizens.
