KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15 : Kuwait International Airport witnessed extreme congestion on Saturday afternoon, which resulted in frustration among the passengers especially over the chaos in the departure area particularly in front of gates 9, 10, 27 and 28, reports Al-Anba daily.According to the Director General of Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) Yousef Al-Fawzan, the reason behind the congestion was the start of spring holidays for students and the keenness of many citizens and expatriates to spend these holidays outside the country. He indicated that the congestion was expected and dealt with in about 30 minutes due to efforts exerted by the airport support units. Al-Fawzan said the airport these days witnesses about 350 daily departing and arriving flights to and from all around the world without any delays.
