KUWAIT CITY, July 24: In a recent operation, the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigation has successfully raided and shut down two fake maids offices in the Sabah Al-Nasser area. These offices were found to be sheltering 9 expats who violated residence laws and were engaged in daily labor activities.

Furthermore, a separate operation in the Salmiya area resulted in the arrest of 13 expats for various violations. Among those apprehended were 6 expats under Article 20 (domestic labor visa) regulations, 8 expats for absconding, 6 expats without valid documentation, one person under Article 18 (private sector work visa), and one individual taken into custody for their involvement in another person's arrest.

These actions demonstrate the authorities' commitment to enforcing the country's residence laws and ensuring the safety and integrity of the nation's workforce.
