JEDDAH, Sept 17: The Coalition for the Restoration of Legitimacy in Yemen have shot down an explosive drone launched by Houthi militia, targetting a civilian-populated city in southern Saudi Arabia, a spokesman said on Thursday.
"Joint Coalition Forces have intercepted and destroyed this evening (Thursday) a bomb-laden UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) launched systematically and deliberately by the terrorist Houthi militia to target civilians and civilian objects in Khamis Mushait," Group Capt Turki Al-Malki said in a statement carried by state news agency, SPA.(KUNA)
