KUWAIT, March 10: Kuwait's Ministry of Health (MoH) registered Wednesday 1,333 additional COVID-19 cases over a 24-hour span, increasing the total number of infections to 204,388, while three fatalities were recorded, raising the death toll to 1,144. Active cases amounted to 14,089 with 188 of them in intensive care units, MoH's Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA.


Health authorities conducted 9,797 swab tests to a total of 1,877,135, which meant that 13.6 percent of swab tests performed in 24 hours were infections, he revealed. Dr. Al-Sanad urged everyone in Kuwait to comply to the precautionary measures against the virus and maintain social distancing.

He recommends that everyone should visit MoH's official accounts and official authorities in the country to view the instructions, recommendations, and everything that would contribute to crush the virus.
Earlier today, the ministry confirmed 988 fresh recovery cases, increasing the total to 189,155 cured people so far (KUNA)
