KUWAIT CITY, July 26: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has warned the domestic workers recruitment agencies to provide all services to the citizens and residents entrusted to them, to avoid closure of the office, according to the law, reports Al-Jarida daily. In a warning posted on its official account on Twitter, the ministry stated that the office collecting more money than specified by the by the ministry is one of the causes that will lead to the closure of the office, as well as the refusal to recruit workers will lead to the cancellation of the license.

It stressed that it will not hesitate to apply the law on violators and to exercise its powers to protect the consumer. In an awareness tweet attached to this publication, under the slogan ‘Participate in the supervision’, the Ministry of Commerce reiterated that the price of recruiting domestic workers through the office is 890 Kuwaiti dinars, including the ticket, and that 390 dinars must be paid when the employer presents the passport of the workers to the office
