KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: Acting on information that 5,000 gallons of diesel had spilled on to the ground after a diesel tank truck had flipped over, firemen rushed to the spot and sprayed foam and to prevent fire catching the diesel, reports Al-Shahed daily. The truck driver who was seriously injured was lifted to the hospital by air ambulance. A diesel tanker toppled on Al-Zour Road, resulting in injuries to the driver, and spillage of diesel on the road. In a press statement issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), the Public Relations and Media Department of KFSD explained that firefighters rushed to the location with security men and paramedics after receiving information about the accident.
