KUWAIT CITY, March 11: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested an unidentified Egyptian resident for posting a video clip of securitymen in the social media criticizing their actions and insulting Kuwait, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The Directorate General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry stated the Criminal Security Sector caught the suspect in less than an hour and referred him for deportation. During interrogation the suspect is said to have admitted to the charge. He said he made the clip in Khaitan. The Ministry of Interior said anyone who criticizes or insults securitymen and Kuwait will be deported and citizens will be imprisoned.
