KUWAIT CITY, Jan 9: The cruise ship ARTANIA MS, carrying around a thousand tourists from across Europe, docked in Kuwait on Monday as part of a tour of the wider Arab region, the country’s ports authority said. ARTANIA MS’ pit stop in Kuwait is part of efforts to boost local ‘maritime tourism,’ said a Kuwait Ports Authority statement, in line with a national ‘2035 development vision.’ The German-owned, en route to a number of Gulf Arab countries, is the first tourist ship to dock in Kuwait since 2012.
