KUWAIT CITY, July 10: The Director- General of the General Directorate of Residency Affairs has referred an Iranian doctor to the Public Prosecution after accusing her of forgery, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, the doctor, over 50 years, was working for the Ministry of Health and that her services were terminated in 2012, but she continued renewing her residence permit with the Ministry of Health.
Investigations conducted with the expatriate doctor revealed that she was visiting government department to periodically renew her residence permit with the Ministry of Health by presenting forged document and stamps and provided police with information about employees who helped her, however they denied knowledge that the documents she had presented were forged.
The source added, armed with a search warrant issued by the Public Prosecution the doctor’s house was searched and during the search, inspectors found many blind cats and dogs which she said she was caring for at her own expense and denied exploiting these animals in any way.
