KUWAIT CITY, Jan 8: Memorable scenes of folk and heritage songs loved by the public were embodied by 17 plastic artists through paintings and artworks that decorated the walls of the Gnawi exhibition, which was inaugurated by the Kuwaiti National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters last week, under the patronage of the Governor of the capital, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

The exhibition held in Ahmed Al-Adwani hall in the Dahiyat Abdullah Al- Salem area, which lasted for a week, hosted paintings that refl ect a group of artworks that contributed to the emergence of the cultural movement locally, especially folklore and heritage songs, in which different colors and materials were used.
