KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: The Constitutional Court on Thursday ruled against the DNA Law, declaring Articles 2, 4, 8 and 11 of Law No. 78/2015 as unconstitutional. The court also overruled the remaining articles of the law as they are deemed inseparable from the articles declared unconstitutional. Previously, the court looked into two petitions filed by several citizens demanding cancellation of Law No. 78/2015 as it violates the Constitution’s stipulation on DNA sampling.
