KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: The Hijri New Year holiday will be Thursday, 20th August, which falls on the first Muharram of the year 1442 AH, and it will be 3 days, namely Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and the official working hours will resume on Sunday the 23rd of this month.
The Civil Service Commission announced holiday for all ministries, government agencies, authorities and public institutions, on 20th August (Thursday)on the occasion of the Hijri New Year of 1442 AH
