KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: The Ministry of Health has allocated a 24-hour hotline No. “24970967” to answer any questions related to coronavirus, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Department of Moral Guidance in the Kuwait National Guard coordinated with the media office of Ministry of Health to hold a lecture on coronavirus and activate the protocol of cooperation between the two parties as well as enhance awareness for the employees of the National Guard on ways to protect themselves from this disease.

The lecture was under the patronage and in the presence of the Undersecretary of National Guard Lieutenant General Hashim Al- Rifaie. The lecture was given by the Head of Public Health Laboratories Dr Sara Al Qabandi who affirmed the keenness of the ministry to spread awareness in the society about all the steps people should follow for ensuring protection from coronavirus.

She talked about different ways to enhance protection, stressing the need to avoid contact with people infected by coronavirus, to wash hands regularly, and follow all instructions concerning this virus. An exhibition was organized by Ministry of Health in the auditorium in the National Guard headquarters. A number of leaders of the National Guard attended the exhibition.
